West Ham take stance on potential Crysencio Summerville departure amid Tottenham interest

West Ham United are reportedly prepared to cash in on one of their most important players, Crysencio Summerville this summer amid growing interest from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

The Hammers have endured an underwhelming campaign so far and are currently at risk of dropping out of the English top flight this season as they occupy one of the three relegation spots on the Premier League standings.

In what has been a tough season, one of the brighter spots in Nuno Espirito Santo’s side has come in the form of Summerville, who’s been central to many of the positives West Ham have enjoyed over the course of the campaign.

The Netherlands international’s combined contribution of seven goals and four assists from 27 matches across all competitions ranks second in the West Ham squad behind only club talisman Jarrod Bowen.

Despite this, Sport Witness reports that the Hammers are open to parting ways with Summerville this summer transfer window, amid leading interest from Tottenham Hotspur and a fee in the region of 30 million euros will be enough to get a deal over the line.

The report also states that Tottenham are not alone in their admiration for the 24-year-old forward, with a host of other Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, Brentford, AFC Bournemouth and Everton, also monitoring his situation.

Outside of England, Summerville has also caught the attention of top clubs across the French Ligue 1, the Serie A and La Liga, with the likes of Olympique Marseille, Napoli, Atalanta and Villarreal all said to be eyeing up moves for the Dutchman.
