Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up a summer move for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson, as uncertainty continues to surround the future of Guglielmo Vicario at the club.

Despite being under contract until 2028, Vicario’s position has come under scrutiny in recent weeks, with criticism growing amid Spurs’ poor run of form.

According to our previous reports, the 29-year-old is also attracting interest from Inter Milan, who are hoping to sign him as a replacement for Yann Sommer, who is expected to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Vicario is also believed to be keen on a return to Italy as he looks to strengthen his chances of playing for the national team. Spurs would be forced into the market for a new first-choice goalkeeper if he decides to leave, particularly given the inconsistency of backup option Antonín Kinsky.

According to reports from TeamTalk, Henderson has emerged as a major target. The England international has impressed since joining Crystal Palace in 2023, establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s standout goalkeepers.

He played a key role in Palace’s historic FA Cup triumph in 2025, delivering an outstanding performance to shut out Manchester City in a 1-0 win in the final.

Henderson also starred in the Eagles’ FA Community Shield win over Liverpool earlier in the season, saving two penalties in the shootout.

However, Spurs are also looking at alternatives in case a deal for Henderson does not materialize. As we reported earlier, Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu is also being monitored.

Henderson would represent a proven Premier League upgrade if Tottenham can get a deal over the line, but much would depend on their top-flight status at the end of the season.
