Tottenham Hotspur are exploring the possibility of a move for Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara ahead of the summer transfer window.
Spurs are expected to be very busy this summer, regardless of their Premier League status at the end of the season.
They have already sealed the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi as their new head coach on a long-term deal and can now focus their attention on strengthening other parts of their squad.
The North London club are keen to reinforce their midfield, especially with uncertainty surrounding the future of Yves Bissouma, whose potential departure would leave them short on options.
According to reports from CaughtOffside, Tottenham have already made contact with Sara’s representatives to explore the possibility of a move this summer.
The Brazilian midfielder has impressed since joining Galatasaray in 2024, establishing himself as a key part of their squad and playing a major role in their league and cup double triumph in his debut season.
The 26-year-old has carried that form into the current campaign, contributing six goals and three assists across all competitions for the Turkish champions.
Sara previously enjoyed a strong spell in England with Norwich City between 2022 and 2024. He was named the club’s Player of the Season in his first year and earned a deserved spot in the Championship Team of the Season the following campaign.
Tottenham have also been linked with Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli as we reported earlier, with the club looking to keep their options open.
Galatasaray are reluctant to part ways with Sara, but could consider a deal if their valuation is met. However, any move will likely depend on Spurs securing their top-flight status at the end of the season.
