Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a timely injury boost ahead of Sunday’s must-win London derby against Fulham in the Premier League, with defenders Kevin Danso, Pedro Porro and Micky van de Ven all set to return to action.
Spurs suffered a disappointing 4-1 defeat to North London rivals Arsenal in interim boss Igor Tudor’s first game in charge last weekend and are desperate for their first league win of 2026 as relegation worries start to creep in.
The return of these key players will provide the Europa League champions with much confidence heading into the clash.
Porro has been out of action since picking up a hamstring injury in the 2-2 draw against Burnley in January and has missed Tottenham’s last five matches across all competitions.
The 26-year-old has returned to training and will be expected to feature in Sunday’s clash.
Danso is also back after missing Spurs’ last four league matches with a toe injury picked up during their Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt in January, while Van de Ven has been passed fit despite missing Wednesday’s training session with a minor toe issue.
“Yes [Porro and Danso are back and available]. It’s small problem for Micky with his little toe, but he’s okay”, Tudor confirmed during Thursday’s pre-match press conference in quotes revealed by football london.
The North London club still have plenty of problems to deal with, as the likes of Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, Lucas Bergvall and Mohammed Kudus remain sidelined with injuries, while captain Cristian Romero is suspended for the clash.
Tottenham sit just four points above the relegation zone and are winless in their last four meetings with Fulham. With pressure mounting, anything less than a win on Sunday could drag them even deeper into the relegation fight.
