Real Madrid’s stance on potential summer exit for Eduardo Camavinga revealed

Real Madrid Eduardo Camavinga

Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers for Eduardo Camavinga this summer, with the French midfielder no longer considered a key part of the club’s plans.

Camavinga joined the Spanish giants from Stade Rennes for €31m four and a half years ago but has struggled to make a convincing case for a starting spot at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Despite flashes of quality, the France international has been in and out of the side throughout his second season and beyond, with consistency proving elusive, a challenge he has openly acknowledged.

According to RadioMarca, Camavinga is no longer on Madrid’s list of ‘non-transferable’ player,s and the club is open to offers; they are understood to be seeking a minimum of €50m.

Funds from any potential sale will likely help to fund new midfield reinforcements. Targets linked to the Bernabeu ahead of the summer transfer window include Rodri Hernandez and Kees Smit.

Interest in Camavinga has already emerged from the Premier League, with Liverpool reportedly monitoring the situation during the January window.

Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia have also expressed an interest, suggesting the midfielder could have multiple options if he chooses to depart, although he has shown no clear desire to quit the Spanish capital so far.

Fitness and form have also played a role in Camavinga’s struggles at Real Madrid. Despite relatively few serious injuries, he has featured for just 1,685 minutes across 31 appearances this season.

This stop-start pattern has contributed to his inability to cement a regular starting role under Madrid’s current setup.

With a long-term contract until 2029, Camavinga’s future may now hinge on whether a suitable offer arrives and if both player and club see a move as beneficial for all parties.
