Premier League trio track Christian Pulisic as AC Milan considers summer sale

Christian Pulisic could be made available by AC Milan at the end of the season, with Manchester  United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur all monitoring the situation of the American.

According to reports in Italy, Milan are exploring potential sales as they look to raise funds, and Pulisic has emerged as one of the players who could be sacrificed.

The United States international is said to carry an asking price of around £55 million, a figure the club would be prepared to accept should formal offers arrive.

Pulisic has been one of Milan’s most productive players this season,  scoring 10 goals and providing two assists across all competitions.

His form has made him a key part of their attacking dynamic, but his contractual situation has added some sort of friction to the situation. The 26-year-old  has 18 months remaining on his deal, with Milan holding an option to extend for a further year.

Despite that safeguard, there is an expectation that Milan may look to cash in sooner rather than later to avoid any risk of his value declining or negotiating power leaving their hands.

Several Premier League sides have been drawn to the situation, with United, Arsenal and Spurs all keeping close watch.

Manchester United have a massive reshuffling in attack upon them, with Marcus Rashford expected to leave permanently this summer. The switch to a 4-3-3 system has also increased the need for depth and flexibility in wide areas.

Pulisic is one of several profiles being assessed. Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon has also been linked, as reported earlier. Rafael Leao, Iliman Ndiaye and Yan Diomande, among other names, have also been linked to the Red Devils as they prepare for an overhaul with their forwards.
