Italian giants Juventus are considering a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker during the summer transfer window.
The Bianconeri are expected to enter the market in the summer for an experienced goalkeeper as part of a major squad rebuild ahead of next season, as they aim to compete strongly for major trophies again and also mount a serious challenge in Europe.
According to reports, Alisson has emerged as a very serious option, with Juventus impressed by his top-level experience.
However, they are expected to keep a close eye on his contractual situation at Liverpool before making any move.
The Reds recently activated a one-year extension clause in the Brazilian’s contract, keeping him at Anfield until 2027, with his previous deal set to expire at the end of the current season.
The 33-year-old joined Liverpool from AS Roma in 2018 and has since established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in world football.
He has played a key role in the club’s recent success, helping them to several major trophies, including two Premier League titles and one UEFA Champions League title.
Despite the recent contract extension, Alisson’s long-term future at Liverpool is still uncertain, with no discussions yet over a new deal beyond 2027, which could potentially open the door for a move this summer.
Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti previously worked with Alisson during their time together at Roma and is keen on reuniting with the goalkeeper in Italy.
Although Liverpool may be reluctant to part ways with Alisson, given his importance to the squad, they could be tempted to sell this summer rather than risk losing him for free at the end of the 2026–27 season.
