Fulham are in contact with Manchester City over a potential move for winger Oscar Bobb, with discussions ongoing around a deal valued at approximately £35 million.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League side have opened talks with City as they explore attacking reinforcements ahead of the second half of the season. Bobb remains under contract at the Etihad, having signed a long-term deal in February 2024, but his future has become the subject of internal consideration following recent changes to City’s attacking options.

The 22-year old has found regular minutes hard to come by after a serious Achilles injury disrupted much of his 2024-25 campaign. Since returning to fitness, he has faced stiff competition in Pep Guardiola’s squad, sitting behind the likes of Phil Foden, Jérémy Doku, and Rayan Cherki, with the recent arrival of Antoine Semenyo.

City are understood to be open to listening to offers as they manage squad balance and look to avoid congestion in wide areas, making Bobb one of the players whose situation is being monitored during the window.

The Cottagers’ interest in the Norwegian reflects a desire from the club to strengthen in the final third despite recent additions in attack. Marco Silva’s side are looking to build greater depth and quality out wide as they look to build on a strong run of form earlier in the campaign.

Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with Bobb, although no formal approach has been made at this stage, leaving Fulham as the club currently in direct contact with City.

According to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, the 22- year-old is open to leaving Manchester City in search of regular playing time, with a move to the Bundesliga viewed as a strong possibility

Fulham sit 11th in the Premier League table, just four points off fifth place, and remain firmly in the race for European qualification. They will look to bounce back from their recent defeat to Leeds United when they host Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend at the Craven Cottage.
