German champions Bayern Munich are preparing a major summer move for Murillo, as Europe’s elite circle the Nottingham Forest centre-back.

According to fresh reports, Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has already set a valuation that could lead to a record-breaking sale for the Premier League side if the right offer arrives.

Murillo has quickly become one of Forest’s most valuable assets following a series of standout defensive displays, attracting interest from multiple top clubs across Europe ahead of the summer transfer window.

While Forest focus on their European schedule, including a crucial tie against Fenerbahçe at the City Ground, uncertainty continues to grow around the Brazilian defender’s long-term future.

Reports indicate that Chelsea have done the most groundwork, having closely monitored Murillo over the past year and previously exploring a move.

Liverpool are also considered serious contenders as they assess defensive options amid doubts surrounding Ibrahima Konaté and their long-term backline structure.

Interest does not stop there. Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur have all registered interest, while Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are monitoring the situation.

However, the most significant development is the emergence of Bayern. Under head coach Vincent Kompany, the Bundesliga champions are believed to be ready to make a major push and feel confident they can compete financially and sporting-wise with Premier League rivals.

Forest moved quickly to secure Murillo’s future, tying him down to a contract running until 2029. Despite that long-term deal, the club are understood to value the defender between £60m and £70m, a fee that would surpass their previous record sale of Anthony Elanga.

Forest remain reluctant to sell, but with interest intensifying across Europe and Bayern preparing a decisive approach, keeping hold of Murillo could become increasingly difficult as the summer window approaches.
