Barca Injury News – Raphina Fit, Ferran Torres out Ahead Of Slavia Prague Clash

Hansi Flick praises Raphina

In the latest Barca injury news released by manager Hansi Flick, the Spanish Laliga champions will have Raphinha fit for their crucial UEFA Champions League game against Slavia Prague on Wednesday.

The Blaugrana take on Czech giants Slavia Prague in their seventh game of the Champions League at the Fortuna Arena.

The game holds high significance for Barcelona, as they currently sit 15th on the league table - four points above the elimination zone and three points below the automatic round of 16 spots. So they have to start winning games or risk playing the round of 16 playoffs or even exiting the tournament.

The game in Prague presents a golden opportunity for the five-time Champions League winners to stack up points, as their Czech opponents currently sit 33rd on the log, having claimed just three points from their first six games in the competition.

Nonetheless, Barcelona have shown that they can’t be entirely trusted in games like these, as they already dropped points away at Belgian side Club Brugge earlier. But in that game, coach Hansi Flick was missing some key players like Raphinha and Pedri.

However, ahead of the game against Slavia Prague, Flick has most of his first team players. The club confirmed on Tuesday morning that Raphinha had been passed fit after missing their 2-1 loss to Real Sociedad over the weekend.

But striker Ferran Torres -  who has 15 goals and one assist in 27 appearances this season -has been ruled out of the game. The Spaniard is dealing with a slight injury which will keep him sidelined until next week.

Barcelona’s wonderkid Lamine Yamal is also expected to miss the game due to an accumulation of yellow cards. Then, there are other long-term absentees like Gavi and Andreas Christensen.
