Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Garcia once the summer transfer window opens.
The Gunners have enjoyed an outstanding campaign so far and are on track to end their long wait for a league title.
However, the club is keen to strengthen their squad in the summer as they look to build a squad capable of dominating Europe for many years.
The North London club will target reinforcements in attack, with their inconsistency in front of goal this season proving a major concern.
There is also uncertainty surrounding the futures of Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli at the club and potential departures could free up spaces in the squad.
According to reports from Tribal Football, Garcia has emerged as one of the options being considered to bolster the forward line ahead of next season.
The Spanish U-21 international came through Real Madrid’s academy and made his senior debut in 2023, but it was during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup that he truly made his mark under former boss Xabi Alonso.
The 22-year-old scored four goals and provided one assist at the tournament, finishing as the tournament’s top scorer while also earning a place in the Team of the Tournament.
Despite that breakthrough, regular minutes have been hard to come by due to fierce competition for attacking places at the Spanish giants, with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo ahead of him in the pecking order.
Garcia is open to a move in search of more regular playing time, while Arsenal view him as a promising long-term addition.
However, a permanent deal could be difficult to secure, with Real Madrid more likely to consider a loan move, and both parties could reach an agreement on the option to make the transfer happen.
