Real Madrid plotting eye-watering swoop for Bayern winger Michael Olise

Real Madrid could be preparing for a major attacking shake-up this summer, with uncertainty continuing to surround the future of Rodrygo.

The Brazilian forward has been linked with a possible exit, and recent reports suggest that the Spanish giants are already exploring potential options to strengthen the right side of their attack if he departs.

One name that has quickly climbed to the top of Real’s shortlist is Michael Olise.

The Bayern Munich winger is regarded as one of the most exciting attacking talents in Europe, and Madrid believes his creativity, technical ability and direct style would make him an ideal addition to their front line.

Reports from Spanish media outlet Marca suggest Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is a long-time admirer of the France international and is seriously considering a huge offer to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The potential bid could reach around €160 million, a figure that would place Olise among the most expensive signings in Real Madrid’s history if a deal were to go through.

Madrid see Olise as a player capable of injecting fresh energy into their attack.

His ability to operate out wide while also drifting into central areas makes him a tricky customer for defenders, and the Spanish capital club view him as a natural fit for their attacking system should they need to replace Rodrygo.

However, completing such a transfer would be far from straightforward. Bayern are not believed to be interested in parting ways with the French winger anytime soon, especially given his importance in Vincent Kompany’s attacking setup.

Olise is also under contract with the Bundesliga champions until 2029, and with no release clause included in his deal, any potential move would require direct negotiations between the two European heavyweights.
