Manchester United eyeing summer move for Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson

Fulham Antonee Robinson

Manchester United have identified Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson as a major target as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

The 28-year-old joined the West London club in 2020 and has established himself as one of the most consistent fullbacks in the Premier League over the past few seasons.

He was named the Cottagers’ player of the season for the 2023-24 season, while he delivered an impressive 10 league assists during the 2024-25 campaign, a tally only bettered by Mohamed Salah(18), Jacob Murphy (12) and Anthony Elanga (11).

However, he has seen his impact limited this season with a knee injury, but has already played 13 times in the Premier League for Fulham.

According to reports from TeamTalk, Manchester United are prepared to bring Robinson to Old Trafford as they aim to strengthen the squad and return to competing for major honours.

The three-time European champions are expected to be in the market for midfield reinforcements which is their major priority, while they are also exploring options to strengthen the left wing position.

Left-back is also another position the Red Devils want to reinforce, with Luke Shaw suffering from persistent injury problems, while Patrick Dorgu has been used further forward, making the need for a natural left-back even more pressing.

However, they will face competition for Robinson’s signature, with Liverpool and Aston Villa also interested.

The Reds are monitoring the situation as they prepare for the potential departure of Andy Robertson, while Villa are also believed to be interested.

Qualification for the UEFA Champions League would strengthen Manchester United’s chances of securing a deal for Robinson, who could arrive for an affordable fee in the summer and provide an upgrade in the left-back position.
