Crystal Palace are considering a move for former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Thomas Frank, as they begin preparations for life after Oliver Glasner.

The Eagles’ current coach Glasne,r has already confirmed that he will step down at the end of the season when his current contract expires, giving the club time to begin searching for a suitable successor.

The Austrian arrived at Palace in 2024 and enjoyed a memorable time at the club, leading them to their first major trophy when they defeated Manchester City 1-0 in the 2025 FA Cup final, with Eberechi Eze scoring the decisive goal.

The South London club added a second major silverware few months later by defeating Premier League champions Liverpool on penalties to win the FA Community Shield.

According to reports from The Sun, Crystal Palace have now placed Frank high on their shortlist as they continue evaluating potential replacements for Glasner.

Frank was dismissed after a difficult spell at Tottenham in February, bringing an end to a disappointing eight-month spell at the 2025 Europa League champions.

Before that, the Dane had built an impressive reputation at Brentford, leading the club to promotion to the Premier League in 2021 and establishing them as a competitive side in the top-flight.

However, he is not the only candidate being considered by the club. Bournemouth’s manager Andoni Iraola and former England head coach Gareth Southgate are also understood to have been discussed by the club’s hierarchy.

Frank fits Crystal Palace’s managerial profile due to his Premier League experience and reputation for improving players, while his desire to return to management early also makes him an attractive option for the club.
