Record European champions Real Madrid are weighing up a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven, according to reports from TeamTalk.
The Netherlands international has enjoyed a remarkable rise since joining Spurs from Wolfsburg in 2023 and has developed into one of the Premier League’s standout centre-backs with his pace and consistency.
The 24-year-old is under contract at the North London club until 2029, having signed a six-year deal on his arrival.
However, there is growing uncertainty around his future and that of his centre-back partner Cristian Romero, especially if Tottenham fails to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Real Madrid are expected to prioritise defensive additions in the summer and have made Van de Ven their top target, especially with the contracts of Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba expiring at the end of the season.
