Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane has reacted to the growing speculations linking him with a potential move to Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona in the summer transfer window.

Kane has maintained his reputation as one of the most prolific strikers across Europe since joining the Bundesliga champions from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur back in the summer of 2023.

The England international boasts an impressive tally of 128 goals in 132 appearances for Bayern Munich. This season alone, he’s plundered 46 goals in 41 games across all competitions for the Bavarians.

Those numbers have kept Kane firmly on Barcelona’s radar as the Catalan club continues to explore long-term attacking options ahead of the summer transfer window.

However, the Bayern striker has made it clear that his focus remains firmly in Munich. Speaking on the rumours, Kane dismissed any suggestion of active talks and reiterated his commitment to his current club.

“I haven’t heard anything about it,” Kane said in quotes revealed by Goal.

“My father and brother handle everything, but they haven’t said anything to me. As I’ve already said, I’m very happy here at Bayern. I’m focused on this season and my time at Bayern. I take it as a compliment.”

Kane’s current contract at Bayern Munich will expire in 2027, and reports indicate that senior officials at the Allianz Arena are under no pressure to sell the striker this summer as they are confident of getting him to extend his stay in Bavaria.

For now, the club is content with the level of output from the experienced English centre forward as he continues to lead their charge in the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and UEFA Champions League.

Bayern currently top the Bundesliga standings, with eight points separating them and Borussia Dortmund who sit second. The Bavarians are also through to the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal as well as the Round of 16 of the Champions League.
