Liverpool consider move for Christian Pulisic amid AC Milan contract uncertainty

Premier League champions Liverpool are weighing up a summer transfer for AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic amid growing uncertainty over his future in Italy, according to reports from TeamTalk.

Pulisic previously spent time in England with Chelsea, but was limited by several injury struggles and could now be set for a return three years after leaving.

The 27-year-old has developed into one of Milan’s most important players since arriving at the club, scoring 42 goals and providing 25 assists in 120 appearances across all competitions for the seven-time UEFA Champions League winners.

The USMNT forward signed a four-year contract upon joining the Rossoneri, which runs until 2027. While Pulisic considers himself an integral part of Massimiliano Allegri’s side and is open to extending his stay, Milan are yet to offer him a new deal, leading to doubts over his long-term stay at the club.

Liverpool are expected to be active in the summer transfer market as they look to reinforce their options ahead of next season. The Reds have already agreed a deal with Rennes for French defender Jeremy Jacquet, who will join the team in the summer.

The six-time Champions League winners could lose Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah to Saudi Arabia at the end of the campaign and have already started the search for potential replacements ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Reds are also monitoring RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, but Pulisic has emerged as another serious option due to his versatility and Premier League experience.

However, they are unlikely to have a clear run at his signature with interest from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Pulisic’s situation remains one to watch out for, especially if his contract situation at Milan remains unresolved, with a decision on his future expected after the FIFA World Cup in the summer.
