Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Europa League champions are planning a major squad overhaul this summer, regardless of whether they remain in the top-flight at the end of the season.
After two disappointing league campaigns, the North London club are expected to see several departures as they look to rebuild and return to competing at the highest level.
Spurs are also expected to be in the market for a new midfielder, with Yves Bissouma likely to leave when his contract expires this summer, while Conor Gallagher, who arrived from Atletico Madrid in January, has struggled to make an impact.
According to reports from TeamTalk, Locatelli has emerged as a potential target, with the Italian midfielder seen as an ideal option to strengthen the midfield.
The 28-year-old has previously attracted interest from Premier League clubs and is admired by Tottenham’s new head coach, Roberto De Zerbi, who worked with him during their time together at Italian club Sassuolo and is keen on a reunion.
Locatelli has impressed since joining Juventus in 2021 and was named in the Serie A Team of the Season for the 2024-25 campaign.
However, he is believed to be open to a new challenge, which could make Spurs an ideal destination.
Meanwhile, any potential deal may depend on Tottenham’s Premier League status at the end of the season. They currently sit just one point above the relegation zone with seven games remaining.
